I ordered contact lens and another related item online for the first time and here's how it went.
I randomly found ThePinkShoppe while browsing on Shopee and decided to go for it since it's time for me to buy a new set of contact lens, anyway, and they do offer a lot of varieties for much affordable prices. The shop also has a high rating and tons of wonderful reviews.
I was thinking of going for graded colored lenses for a change, but they didn't have the ones that I wanted at that time, so I just went for the clear lenses. Fortunately, the grades that I needed were available.
If you're just curious, my left is -2.50 and my right is -3.00. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for around 8 years now. I prefer contact lens better. I personally find glasses a bit bothersome.
The seller is very responsive and helpful. She replies immediately and nicely. Don't be shy to message them and ask any question that you have on your mind.
As I've mentioned, I went for the graded clear ones. Depending on your eye grades, the price of a pair ranges from 600-800 Php. It is possible to have a pair with mixed grades. However, I decided to purchase a pair for each grades, so that's two sets.
The graded clear contact lenses that they offer are by the brand Crystal which is a Korean brand. They have KFDA, ISO and CE Mark. These lenses have a lifespan of a year.
Each pair of contact lens comes with inclusions. The inclusions are a manual, a pink eco pouch, an 80 mL solution and a sturdy case.
Since I bought two pairs, I also received two sets of inclusions.
The pink pouches smell so good.
The 80 ml multi-purpose solutions are by the brand Dream Eye. I believe it's also Korean.
The cases are really cute and girly. They are also indeed sturdy.
The manuals are in English which is great and very helpful.
The package also came with some cards and dedication.
Aside from that, I also ordered a manual rotary contact lens washer. I got it for 100 Php. I was extremely curious, yet doubtful at first. I was wondering whether a lens washer actually works. After using this one, I can finally confidently say that a washer works and it does help quite a lot. I used it for my old lenses the other day and I saw a bit of some icky stuff flowing around.
By the way, I placed my order on the page last April 1, 2019. I received the package through LBC last April 6.
Fortunately, the package arrived in great condition. The solution didn't leak nor spill. They were all safe and secured.
I'm really happy and satisfied with my experience. I think I just found the best online shop when it comes to contact lenses. I recommend the shop big time.
