Did you know that instead of brushing your hair from the top going straight down, it is actually a lot better to do it the other way around? Yes, start from the tips then work your way up carefully. Don't be confused, I'm not talking about backcombing or teasing. What I mean is like this:

1.) Brush the bottom part first
2.) Move up a bit and brush down
3.) Keep doing the 2nd step until you get to the top
Doing so, untangles the knots easily and effectively and prevents hair breakage. Having said that, that technique also makes your hair grow faster, healthier and stronger.
