I don't think you can consider this one as a review.
I really don't know much about essential oils and how to check their actual quality and the likes. I'm only aware of the basics, mostly their benefits, so I'm not confident making a definite review about these stuff. Just treat this post as another product feature or introduction.
I mostly just want to let you know that the brand Erthe Source does offer 100% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil that is distilled and food grade.
I believe food grade products are a lot better and healthier whether you take them internally or just use topically.
Most essential oils available in the market are not food grade and some peppermint oils offered are just fragrance oil instead of a genuine pure essential oil.
It's important to be vigilant about these details if you truly want to reap the benefits of these oils and not damage your skin or your health.
Now, if you're not familiar with the brand Erthe Source, it is actually an Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) company in the Philippines. Their farm, facility, and VCO are all USDA certified organic by the Global Organic Alliance, Inc. They develop wholesale natural health and beauty products using virgin coconut oil as the main ingredient.
If you want to know more about them and the product that they do offer, you can check out their own website at https://www.erthesource.com/. They also have a Shopee page. That's where I first found them and where I actually ordered this peppermint oil. I purchased a 15 mL bottle of it for 270 Php. It's also available in 20 and 30 mL.
I do appreciate that the bottle is dark. It helps protect the aromatic and therapeutic properties of the product and prevent deterioration due to sunlight. I also like the dropper.
Based on the product description, Erthe Source Peppermint Essential Oil has a cooling and soothing effect which makes it ideal for nausea, stomach ache, headaches, and muscle pain. It also works as an expectorant which helps with sinusitis, allergies, and cough.
Peppermint essential oil can also help with repelling mosquitoes, boosting energy, soothing digestive issues, relieving itchiness, freshening breath, and fighting acne.
Here are some of the ways to use the item: Add a few drops to an oil burner or diffuser. Add a few drops to water and gargle for fresh breath.
Personally, it's an additional ingredient to my homemade toothpaste. I love how I can control the intensity of the scent and taste depending on how many drops I use. It effectively provides freshness that lasts for a long time.
The scent of this essential oil reminds me greatly of Peppermint candy canes which is a real plus.
That's pretty much all I can say regarding this product. I hope you find this post helpful.
Until next time!
