Today, I have another nasal inhaler from Thailand and it is the well known Poy-sian Brand Mark II.
I got this item from the same shop where I got the first nasal inhaler that I featured last time and also for the same price of half a hundred. That's rather inexpensive. Other shops sell the same item for almost double that price. And yes, just like the other items that I got from the shop, I'm positive that I got an authentic product. Also, as I've mentioned on my recent post, they've been selling Thai medicine since 2012.
Similar with the first one, it's also packed in the usual carton. This time, the dominant colors of the packaging are white and green. There's a bit of red on the cardboard and even on the tube itself. Each tube has a different accent color. The one that I have here has a baby pink one.
The company details, including the address, that I believe is stated right on the front, together with the telephone and fax numbers, are not in English.
If you need those details in English, check the tube itself.
On the back of the cardboard, the significant dates are indicated.
The list of ingredient is also included there and it is composed of pretty much the same stuff as the Siang Pure one, but in very different amount or percent.
This product is also a 2 in 1 inhaler, and so, the structure is just the same with other similar type of inhalers. The inhaler itself is the one above and then there's an oil under it. This one only contains 1.7 mL.
I find this product efficient. It works the way it should againts colds, discomfort and headache. I also use the oil for bites and marks and it effectively takes aways the itchiness and makes stuff heal faster.
However, compared to Siang Pure, the strength and longevity are not as powerful. That's not totally a bad thing, if you prefer a gentle yet efficient product, then this one is for you.
Aside from that, I find the scent of this one more medicated or mentholated than that of Siang Pure. It definitely has an older vibe to it.
The scent of the oil once the menthol subsides is definitely that of a powdery floral.
Overall, this is a good product, but I personally prefer the strength, longevity and scent of Siang Pure.
How about you? Have you tried both products? If yes, which one do you prefer?
That's it for now.
Until next time!
