I'm back with another Human Nature product. Today, let me share with you all the first toothpaste that I've tried from the brand and it is the Human Nature Natural Gel Toothpaste.
This product is available in two sizes. The one that I have here is the 105 G one and it retails for 154.75 Php. Then, there's the 200 G tube that costs 269.75 Php. It's definitely a bit more expensive compared to the usual toothpastes that we have in the market.
The tube comes in an individual box. The necessary details are stated around the box and also on the tube. Both of them are seemingly made of the usual materials. The overall packaging looks nice and decent. They also do work and provide their purposes. The tube is easy to squeeze. It has the usual mini flip-up cap.
As indicated on the packaging, this product is NPA certified. If you're not familiar, it stands for the US Natural Products Association. Most of the products from this brand are certified and they do bear the seal which certifies compliance with the NPA standard.
As usual, the ingredients are listed. It doesn't contain any harmful chemicals, triclosan, sls and peroxide. This product claims to be 99.67% natural. It is also cruelty-free and vegan.
The directions on how to use the product and the proper amount to be used are also stated.
The paste itself is a translucent gel. It does have a nice consistency or body. It holds its form for a while. It is not too weak, nor runny.
I've been using this toothpaste for around two months now and so far, so good. It doesn't make my teeth and gums feel irritated or sensitive.
It contains StainClear Actives silica and zinc citrate which are supposed to remove surface stains and prevent plaque and tartar build-up. I do think they are effective. This toothpaste makes my teeth look and feel really clean. It doesn't extremely brighten or whiten them, but neither does it turn them yellow.
Peppermint, corn mint and menthol are also part of the ingredients. They make the product smell and taste so minty, but with a tinge of sweetness. The scent even makes me think a bit of peppermint candy canes, but it's slightly mintier and certainly less sweet, tastewise.
Anyway, these ingredients efficiently provide that fresh and clean feeling and breath. That fresh effect lingers for a good while.
This toothpaste performs its job exactly as it claims: clean teeth, fresh breath and healthy gums... naturally.
Overall, I think it performs as good as the other commercialized toothpastes. What makes it worth the extra peso is the healthy aspect of the product. It is not just good for us, but also the environment.
I'm looking forward to try the other toothpaste from the brand. I want to know which one of them is better.
Until next time!
