What I Say: ELF Plumping Lip Glaze

     Angelina Jolie, ah, a very beautiful lady with gorgeous body, lovely face and of course hot, luscious, outstanding lips. Who doesn't admire this woman and her features? If you love her so much and want lips almost just like hers but don’t want surgery which may hurt and cost a lot, lip plumpers are just made perfectly for you. I have some that I would love to share with you.

Right now, I'll be putting a spotlight on ELF Plumping Lip Glaze first.

ELF Plumping Lip Glaze in Ruby Kiss

They have a good variety of color that ranges from light pink to dark red. I have mine in RUBY KISS. It is a deep red with the tiniest bit of sparkles.

I got mine from Watsons for 129.74 Php.

This is a two ended lip gloss with doe foot applicators which I much prefer because most of the times, for me, brushes that came with the glosses tend to make the application streaky and uneven. It also has a mint candy scent which is not overpowering at all.

The one end of this product contains a clear gloss which is the one that plumps the lips. It is said in the packaging that this clear glaze instantly stimulates lips to create a fuller look and should be the one to be used first, under the tinted one. Like most other other lip plumpers, once you put this clear glaze you'll feel a slight tingling sensation, which for me doesn't really hurt, and it would be gone after a few minutes.

The other side which is the tinted glaze is just like any other colored lip glosses. It's written in the packaging that the tinted glaze continues to plump while intensely hydrating the lips, but if you try to put it alone you wouldn't feel any tingling sensation which is an actual indication that it is plumping the lips.

These are both one to two swipes of the lip glazes.

Lets talk about the good side and the bad side of this plumping lip glaze.

the good:
* it has decent pigmentation for a lip gloss
* it is fairly cheap
* there's a good amount of color selection
* it is available locally and in a lot of places
* it glides easily and smoothly
* it lasts very long
* it doesn't feel heavy on the lips
* it is not too sticky
* it doesn't have an overpowering scent
* you'll have technically two lip products that you can use even with any other lip items

the bad:
* some people may find discomfort with the tingling sensation that you'll feel once you use the clear glaze
* it is not kiss proof xD

And did it actually plump the lips? Be the judge.

bare lips

with the clear glaze
with both the clear & tinted glaze
So what can you say?
For me, I say it works a little bit but not that noticeable. And I like the tinted side a lot. Here's a swatch of it when worn alone. :)

 It looks more pigmented alone rather than with the clear glaze.

I think, this ELF plumping lip glaze is more effective as a lip gloss rather than a lip plumper. No worries, I still have another lip plumpers to show you. And who knows, maybe one of them would finally help you achieve the plumped lips that you like. ;)

Thanks for reading, until next time beauties. xoxo
