I have another dark chocolate to talk about today. It's Dars Dark Chocolate from Morinaga.
I got this 42g box at 7-Eleven for 61 Php.
Everything we need to know about the product is indicated on the box.
On the front, there's even the exact representation of the chocolate. The image shows the actual look and size of the product inside.
The back is filled with details. It's stated there that this product is actually made in Malaysia.
The short list of ingredients is at the top.
Parallel to that is the nutrition facts.
The codes and important dates are right under those details.
Inside the box is another foil wrapper.
There's also a plastic tray inside the wrapper. I'm not really a fan of too much packaging. I think it's just a waste.
Anyway, the tray holds 12 already separated cubes of chocolate. Each of them has the product name imprinted on the top.
The texture is really smooth. The consistency is pretty light and soft. It does have the tendency to melt fast.
It has the light scent of creamy dark chocolate.
It also pretty much tastes that way. It is extremely creamy. The bitterness and sweetness of a dark choco are both present.
I personally think that the lightness and creaminess are a bit too much and overpowering. It is lacking richness.
Overall, I think it is an average dark chocolate. It is not that bad, but it is definitely not the best either.
Have you tried this dark chocolate? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know on the comment section below.
Until next time!
