SAIPO BOX OF 2 BARS OF SOAP

This is not a full-on review nor is it much of a haul. It's actually more of just a brand and product introduction.

Saipo is a brand from the Philippines that produces artisan soaps that are made with locally sourced ingredients. These ingredients are mostly plant-based. Their products are not just free from toxic chemicals, they are also cruelty- and plastic packaging- free.

They do have a website, www.saipomnl.com, but it is still under construction at the moment. For now, you can visit their Instagram page @saipo.soap. If you're interested in ordering, they are just a DM away. They also have a Facebook page, but I haven't visited that one, yet.

I personally opted to place my order on their Shopee page. Yes, they do have one and that's actually where I found them first. I just find ordering on Shopee easier and more convenient.

I placed my order last February 24, 2019. They shipped out my package on the 26th and I received it immediately two days after on the 28th through Xpost/LBC.

They only offer different face and body soaps at the moment. You can purchase the items individually or as particular sets.

I ordered the Box of 2 Bars of Soap for 390 Php. I could choose any two from the given list of body soaps and I picked their Tiramisu Treat Soap and Marbled Rose Soap.

I have yet to use any of these soaps. Therefore, I can't speak much about their performances. However, I can tell you that they both have a nice, solid yet smooth consistency. They really feel great. They also look great. I appreciate their different designs and the added elements such as the swirl of colors on the Tiramisu Treat Soap that reminds me of milk and coffee and the actual petals on the Marbled Rose Soap. Both of them smell divine, too. I find that they are both on the sweet, romantic, and soothing side, scent-wise. I don't find any of these two overwhelming or suffocating. I really like them.

As I've already mentioned, these soaps are made with mostly plant-based ingredients. With all these oils, I can already imagine how nourishing, moisturizing and smoothening they will be.

The set that I purchased comes in a decent, reusable box with a personal dedication on a thank you card. I think the packaging is really cute and efficient. Aside from the packaging provided by the courier, there's no plastic used. Even though the box got a bit beaten, the items inside still came to me in great condition.

Saipo is an interesting brand that I definitely recommend for you guys to try. I believe in the brand's power and potential.

I'll surely talk about them again in the future.
