Did you know that it's important to use sunscreen even when it's not necessarily sunny outside? Also, even when you're staying indoor or in the shade? It's because UV rays are able to still penetrate through the clouds and surfaces such as concrete, mirrors, glasses and the likes can cause the light to bounce back at you and still expose you to harmful UV rays. With that said, it's a must to make applying sunscreen an everyday habit regardless of the weather condition and the situation.
In relation to all that, our topic for today is my current favorite sunscreen from the brand Beach Hut. It's their heavyduty and convenient Max SPF 100++ Clear Spray Sunscreen.
Beach Hut is a brand known to specialise in stuff related to sun protection. This product is designed in Californina, USA and made in the Philippines.
It provides both UVA and UVB protection which means it will keep us safe from both accelerated (UV-A)ging and (UV-B)urning. The sun protection factor or SPF indicates the level of protection from UVB, while the ++/PA++ indicates the level of protection from UVA rays. PA actually means Protection Grade of UVA rays.
Keep in mind that you should pick a product with atleast SPF 30 or higher. Anything lower is pretty much useless. The higher the number, the better and longer it will protect you. When it comes to the PA, too, the more plus sign, the more and better protection.
It's always recommended to reapply suncreen after a few hours especially after vigorous water activity, excessive sweating and prolong sun exposure. The case is still the same with this Beach Hut Sunscreen even though it has a high SPF, sweatproof and waterproof. I suggest doing so after 4 to 8 hours.
The other claims of this product are definitely true. First of all, it is far from messy. It is very quick, easy and convenient to use. I love that it is in a spray bottle. It is very handy and the distinct shape of the bottle works well. It fits my hand and is easy to hold. The spray nozzle disperses the product evenly and effectively.
I also have to mention that the overall look of the bottle is cute and effective. It has a striking combination of colors. It may not be uber classy and elegant looking, but it is undeniably fun and lively. It's just perfect for outings and vacations.
When it comes to consistency, I don't find it greasy nor sticky. It feels light and comfortable. It sinks into the skin rather fast.
Unlike physical sunscreen, it is truly invisible and it doesn't leave a white cast.

It claims to be hypoallergenic. My skin has been a bit sensitive lately, but I haven't experience any weird reaction from this product.
Another great thing is that it is not tested on animals. I give it major plus points for being cruelty-free.
One more thing that I enjoy about this product is its scent. It smells really nice and the scent sticks to your skin all day long. It's not overpowering and heady, but it's there. I sprayed this on my boyfriend one time and he loved the scent, too.
By the way, I have the 150 mL bottle. It is a little bit pricey, I think it retails for around 500 Php in the local malls. I personally got mine for a little bit lower price online. Nevertheless, I believe that this product is so worth it.
