WET 'N WILD MEGALENGTH WATERPROOF MASCARA in VERY BLACK

Today is all about this Wet 'n Wild Megalength Waterproof Mascara.

In all honesty, I'm not that much into mascaras. Usually, I just curl my lashes and I'm good to go. It's not just because I'm a bit lazy; I actually find it hard to look for a mascara that can actually perform wonders on my short, stubborn, stick-straight lashes. I'm hoping for an affordable one that can lengthen, volumize and most importantly keep my lashes curled. Also, it has to perform those tasks without being prone to clumping and smudging. Is a product like that too much to ask? Well, read more and find out if I finally found that exceptional mascara that would actually fit my lashes and my preference.

This mascara is a pretty old product in the market. I decided to give it a go since it has good reviews and is very affordable.

As already mentioned, this one is the waterproof variant and it is in EC143 Very Black.

It is packaged in a rather basic, sleek purple tube with black writings. The brush is thin and has tiny plastic bristles. I actually like its simplicity.

A tube contains 0.27 fl. oz. / 8 mL of product.

It is made in PRC.

The list of ingredients is on the plastic wrapper.

It smells like a regular mascara to me, nothing special.

The color of the product is indeed very black. I appreciate how it successfully adds length and volume on my lashes.

I find the consistency light and thin. It doesn't clump nor crumble. Though, it's a bit too wet or liquidy, so it still does weigh my lashes down a bit. I won't say it's too bad. It still does manage to hold a bit of a curl.

I also have to mention that it takes a few minutes to dry so it's important to be careful or else it will smudge all over the place.

It's also not completely waterproof. Actually, it's pretty easy to remove. An eye makeup remover is a bit unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, despite that, it is still quite long lasting. It definitely lasts all day on my lashes and I'm actually glad that it doesn't give me a hard time once it is time to take it off.

All in all, I find it just okay. It is not exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll definitely keep on using it. I'm actually wondering if it will get better once it dries up a little bit, since that's how it works for some mascaras, right? Maybe, it won't weigh my lashes down then? I'm not sure, we will see. I'll update you guys if things get better. However, for now, I don't see myself repurchasing this product. I feel eager to keep on searching for that perfect mascara for my lashes.

I hope you found this helpful in any way. Thank you for visiting this page.

Until next time!
