SKINPOTIONS MELT AWAY MARMALADE CLEANSING JELLY

Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm ready to share my final thoughts about this SkinPotions Melt Away Marmalade Cleansing Jelly. I featured this product on my last mini haul and I mentioned there that I wasn't sure whether this product is breaking me out or not. I'm about to share the real answer today, so just continue to read more.

I purchased this product about two months ago through Lazada. Skinpotions has an official store there. I got it during one of their sales, but the regular selling price is 299 Php.

The product comes in a cute tub that's made of qood quality plastic. It's thick and sturdy.

There's also a cute little spatula inside.

The names of the brand and the product itself is written on the front. I really like the fun fonts and colors that are used for this product.

On the back of the tub, the ingredients are indicated. They also included some helpful details about the brand such as the address, social media accounts and official site.

It's packaged in a cute, well thought of and designed carton box that certainly looks attractive to me.

Once again, they have the brand and product names on the front.

On one side, the ingredients are listed again as well. They also mentioned that this product is free of paraben, mineral oil, petrolatum, silicone, sulphate and phosphate.

On the other side, a witty and interesting product description is given. It is also indicated that this product is locally made and cruelty-free. The company details are also there.

At the back, they stated the directions for use and also a warning.

The significant dates are on the bottom of both the tub and the box.

Honestly, I don't think that the scent it has is that of fresh orange. To me, it smells more like a yummy orange creamsicle. It is sweet and creamy, yet tangy and energizing.

It does truly have a soft sherbet balm texture. However, it has to be kept in room temperature or somewhere colder because if not, it will turn into something liquid and what seems like a creamy oil.

Well, actually that's how it will turn out anyway once you warm it up on your hands and massage it on your dry face. Once you add some water, it emulsifies and turns into something more milky in consistency.

Overall, the consistency is really smooth and it's very easy to spread and use. It effectively takes away even any stubborn makeup such as waterproof mascara and gel liner.

What I appreciate more about this product is that it's not difficult to rinse or wash off. It also doesn't leave a greasy film, oily feeling or any stickiness. You don't have to double cleanse. It can definitely be used alone and that's how I personally use it.

Also, it is true that it does magic without stripping all the moisture off the skin. It actually feels nourishing instead. It leaves the skin feeling soft and healthy, but not totally moisturized so you still have to perform your other skincare steps afterwards, which is completely fine and normal.

Lastly, I want to let you know that this doesn't break me out or cause any weird reaction. I've been using it for a while now so I'm positive about that. My skin is in a really good condition at the moment. The first time I used this I was unsure because I was in the middle of my cycle. Whenever I'm ovulating, my hormones wreak havoc on my skin.

I'm looking forward to try other skincare products from the brand SkinPotions. Right now, I'm actually eyeing their famous tomato serum.

Until next time!
