The secret is out! Every Saturday or most Saturdays (because you know how I roll xD) I will be sharing with you some tips and tricks that I've learned here and there through the years. Some of you probably know some of these stuff but I bet there are still some who are missing out. Worry not, for I am here ready to share with you all, all the beauty secrets I know. ;D Now onto the first secret...
Mascaras with curved wands are known for curling lashes and holding those curls. That is no secret at all. But did you know that you are supposed to use the wand with the bulge facing upwards and not really the other way around?
Am I the only one who didn't know that before?
It truly does make sense because this way it follows the shape of your eye or your lash line (or atleast in my case, it does) so it coats and pushes up most of the lashes at the same time and evenly. Also, if you were to look at eyelash curlers they are also slightly curved that way.
Using the wand with the bulge facing downwards like the one above makes me think that it coats the outer and inner lashes first then the middle ones after which doesn't bother me especially before because that's how I used to do it. But it does look different and I prefer doing it the right way a little bit better.
Using the wand the way it should be is pretty much a game changer. You should definitely give it a try and see if you would like the results more that way like I do. That's it for this post. Feel free to share this to someone else and show your alive "cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead". Hahaha. Is it obvious that I'm a fan of Pretty Little Liars and their intro song? Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this new series in my blog. Watch out for the next secret on Saturday. ;D
