For those of you who are not familiar with Payoneer, it is actually similar to Paypal. It is an online website that provides financial services. Through Payoneer, you can easily send and receive money. It is pretty much a digital wallet or e-wallet.
To sign up for this website, you have to provide the usual personal and contact details. You also have to include your bank account details and an ID number. I believe they only accept three IDs: passport, driver's license and national ID. It's for security purposes so they can't accept just any ID. It's actually a good thing, but a bit of a hassle for those who don't have any of the acceptable IDs.
After filling up the necessary details, the Payoneer team will then review your application. Once approved, they will send you a confirmation e-mail. You can easily access your account right after that.
Based on my personal experience, signing up was pretty fast and simple. I initially thought that the review would take hours, if not days, but it only took a few minutes and then I already received the confirmation. I signed up last June 8.
After I received the e-mail, I immediately checked out my account and the functions.
Don't get too excited about the $25 bonus. You won't get it just by signing up. You have to refer a friend first and both of your accounts have to reach $100.
Anyway, I applied for a Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard on that very same day since it's free and I only needed to click a button and answer a few things. It was very quick and easy. I received the approval and estimated date of arrival right away.
I must say that I really appreciate their fast response.
The card was sent to me by regular mail and was estimated to arrive between 29 Jun 2017 and 10 Jul 2017. I was not expecting it to arrive on time because I saw a lot of complaints about the card arriving late, as in 2-8 months late, or not arriving at all. Some people needed to try a few times before they finally got theirs, while a few chose to pay for a courier fee just to make sure of the card's arrival.
Fortunately, I got mine last Friday, July 7. I didn't pay for anything and it was my first try. I am so happy and satisfied about that.
The back of the letter is composed of the same details but in different languages. I think that's a nice, thoughtful and considerate touch.
I believe they used to issue cards with only a 2-year validity, but I guess they finally improved that, since mine is valid until 2020.
You can easily access the card using any ATM, but of course make sure it's already activated.
To tell you the truth, I have no plans of using my card due to the additional fees. I'm too stingy for that. Every single thing counts, a dollar means a lot. :P I'd rather do a bank transfer.
However, it's nice to have the card just in case I change my mind.
So far, so good. I think I like Payoneer. I give two thumbs up for their fast response and accurate service. I hope they keep on improving. ;)

The letter is pretty straight forward and comes with just the basic info, the card and the code.
