These babies were on a buy one get one deal last week and I obviously wasn't able to say no to that.
I got them last Thursday, June 29, at Robinson's Supermarket. I don't know how long the sale will last or if it's still ongoing. Back then, you can get two for the price of one, so you get two for 48 Php.
I guess they were just trying to finish the stock, since there's only a month to go before these candy bars expire.
I believe this specific flavor of Hershey's is only available during the holidays.
Check out the nutritional information, a bar contains 24 g of sugars. Well, that's a lot less compared to a can of soda which usually has 32-36 g. 4 g of sugar equals to a teaspoon, so that's 2-3 tsp less.
Also, I don't usually finish up a bar in one go. I only take a piece or two whenever I feel like having sweets and that's like every hour. No, I'm just kidding! It's only every time I finish a meal.
I'm not even sure what I'm trying to prove here. Maybe, it's that I'm not a totally unhealthy eater or that I'm a bit healthier than the unhealthy. Nevermind! Hahaha

This is how the candy bar looks. It's pretty similar to Hershey's Cookies and Cream, but instead of cookie bits, this one is full of mint candies. The consistency of the bar is light, smooth and creamy. The texture of the candy bits matches well with it and gives it something extra.
Other than the looks, the taste of the white part is also similar to the cream part of Hershey's Cookies and Cream. However, you'll only get a mellow taste of that here, since the taste of the candy bits is much more powerful.
Overall, Hershey's Candy Cane really does taste like candy cane. The mintness and sweetness are equally present. I personally like it a lot. Chloe, on the other hand, is not a big fan. Instead of candy canes, this bar reminds her of toothpaste. I think that's pretty understandable, to each her own. Since we have two more bars left, I can enjoy them all for myself. Hahaha
