LOACKER MILK CHOCOLATE AND WAFER

This is the last item that I have from my previous 7-Eleven snack shopping spree. 😂

I got this 50g Loacker Milk Chocolate and Wafer for 80 Php. It's a bit expensive, especially for the size, but I see Loacker as a quality brand. It is a brand from Italy.

If you're interested to know more about the brand and their products, visit their official website at www.loacker.com. Don't follow the site on the packaging unless you understand Italian.

Speaking of packaging, it comes in an interesting, sort-of-sticky foil that you can still manage to close after opening. Well, that's as long as you follow the "open here" label.

The color and design of the packaging do follow the familiar look of their other products. I'm talking about their classic wafer and Quadratini, to be exact. Those are the only ones that I have actually encountered so far and I love them both. They are also my sister's favorite.

Anyway, the packaging design is far from minimal. The back is also pretty much packed with details.

There is the list of ingredients which is not too long nor too complicated to understand.

There are also some icons on the side.

Unlike most food items, the nutrition facts of this product is not indicated on the back.

Let's move on to the appearance of the actual product.

The brand name is present on each pieces.

It is a milk chocolate with wafer filling.

The outer texture is smooth and creamy. It has the tendency to melt even just in the packaging and more so in the hand.

The chocolate is indeed thick, but the wafer inside is not as thin as the packaging shows. It has just the right thickness that it doesn't overpower the chocolate.

The wafer filling is crispy. However, if you're not careful with how you break a piece, there's a tendency for the wafer to crumble a bit.

Overall, the crispy wafer truly adds a nice texture and dimension to the rich, creamy chocolate.

Scent-wise, the initial note is that of cocoa, then it turns to a sweeter, milkier note.

Different from most milk chocolates, this one is actually not too sweet. In fact, there's a noticeable tinge of bitterness. The taste is also not incredibly far from other Loacker products. There's just something distinct about them.

I definitely like this Loacker Milk Chocolate and Wafer.

This yummy treat also comes in Dark Chocolate. I'll certainly give that one a go soon. I'll also share with you my thoughts regarding that, once the time comes. I hope you look forward to it.

Until next time!
