MAYUMI ORGANICS HAIR FORTIFYING SHAMPOO BAR

I have another shampoo bar from Mayumi Organics to talk about today.

Unlike the previous one that I reviewed, this one is not a shacon bar. The brand Mayumi Organics do offer a separate Hair Fortifying Conditioner to match this shampoo. I didn't purchase one because my thin, fine and usually flat hair is not very fond of conditioners. They just tend to weigh my hair down and make it look even flatter than it already is.

As I've mentioned on one of my hauls, I got this 75 g bar for 180 Php last February. It is also available as a 25 g bar for 65 Php.

It is extremely important to mention that the one that I'm talking about today is the original version of the Mayumi Hair Fortifying Shampoo. It comes in white and it features Lavender, Geranium and Patchouli. The newer version is yellow in color and the main components are Lavender, Rosemary and Peppermint. I also have the latter, but I haven't used it yet.

If you've read my review of the limited edition Kismet Shampoo Bar, I mentioned there that Mayumi Organics has another shampoo that provides more volume to the hair. This Hair Fortifying Shampoo Bar is exactly the one that I was talking about back then. I still remember how amazed I've been back when I first started using this shampoo. It could reach the holy grail status.

I also really dig the scent of this product. I think it smells more of Patchouli and Geranium. I don't really detect the smell of Lavender that much. The best part is that this natural scent tends to linger and stick on my hair all day long. There's nothing to worry about. Even though that's the case, it is not too strong, overwhelming or suffocating.

Having said that, of course, it is still not perfect. It doesn't actually makes my hair as smooth and soft as shacon bars. It is still soft, smooth and quite easy to manage, but it's surely not as silky. It is probably best to use the shampoo and conditioner combo. I have this strong sense of knowing that this combo is the one to surely give off the best effect and grab the holy grail status.

However, I don't see myself trying this combo anytime soon. Maybe I will, someday, but definitely not anytime soon. I just really don't like using conditioners or simply any additional products. I'm a one-and-done kind of girl. I'm just too lazy and that's too much work for me. ðŸ˜‚

I guess shacons fit me better. Anyway, I'm still positive that I'll keep on using this shampoo bar. It doesn't give me the best of the best, salon-hair result, but I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Let me end this article with more general details about the product.

This is the list of ingredients:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Butter, Sorbitan Olivate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate (&) Ethylhexyl Stearate (&) Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables (&) Capric Caprylic Triglyceride, Psidium Guajava Leaf Extract (Guava), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract (Rosemary), Entada Phaseoloides Bark Extract (Gugo), DL Panthenol, Polyquaternium-7, Lavendula Officinalis Essential Oil (Lavander), Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Essential Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Essential Oil, Phenoxyethanol (&) Caprylyl Glycol

Just like the other Mayumi Organics products, it is also wrapped in grease-resistant paper. There's a label that contains only the most necessary information and it's also made of paper. It is low-waste and eco-friendly.

Its main purpose is to strengthen hair and lessen hair fall especially since it is free from sulfates and silicones.

Owing to the fact that it doesn't contain sulfates, it doesn't actually foam up. It lathers up to a creamy consistency. I either rub it between my palms or directly on my hair. It is definitely easy and fast to rinse, no need for Apple Cider Vinegar.

Almost anyone can use it, even those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, kids that are 6 months and up  and those who have color treated hair.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope it helps.

Until next time!
