LOLA ABON'S DURIAN TART

Look who's back! 😎 This is a bit overdue, but the last of Lola Abon's is finally here. Our topic for today is their Durian Tart.

It has the distinct and familiar packaging that most of the products from Lola Abon's have.

The company details are on the front.

The expiry date is indicated on the back of the pack.

The list of ingredients is also provided.

A pack contains five individually wrapped tarts.

Each piece is wrapped twice; there's the yellow orange cellophane and an additional clear plastic inside.

The crust is not too fragile and neither too hard. Each tart has the right balance of crust and filling. Neither of the two overpowers the other. Some tarts out there are 90% crust and 10% filling. Fortunately, Lola Abon's Durian Tarts are rather generous and fair.

It has a faint scent of sweet, candied durian.

The taste is just right. The taste of durian is pretty evident and I don't find it overly sweet. The filling makes me think of durian jam or durian yema. The taste of the crust balances that of the filling really well.

I definitely think this one is another good buy from Lola Abons.

Until next time!
