HUMAN♥NATURE 100% NATURAL LIQUID DETERGENT

As promised, we're taking a short break from all the food talks.

This is probably not a very timely review since we're going through the rainy season, but I still hope it helps. I just really want to share my love for this product. It makes doing the laundry a bit more enjoyable and even therapeutic.

Human❤️Nature 100% Natural Liquid Detergent is only available in one size which is 950 mL or 32.12 fl. oz. It is available on their official website for 299.75 Php. Official dealers, distributors or members can get it for a cheaper price. To be completely honest, I find it a bit expensive, especially compared to other laundry soaps. That may be its major downside or possible attribute that would turn buyers off. However, I truly believe that it is worth it.

The product is housed in a good-quality plastic jug that can be reused, recycled, upcycled or maybe sold in the junkshop. They don't offer refills due to possible contamination and strict standards. The cap works as a measuring cup. I find the packaging incredibly efficient. It keeps the product safe and fresh while also preventing leakage and breakage.

I feel very proud to mention that this product is made in the Philippines.

It has the NPA or Natural Products Association seal which certifies compliance with the NPA strict standard for naturalness ingredients, human safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability.

This product is composed of ingredients that are vegan and cruelty free. They are clearly listed on the back of the jug.

Aside from being biodegradable and non-toxic, it also doesn't contain possibly harmful chemicals such as phosphates, bleach, enzymes, optical brighteners, petroleum, chlorine, artificial fragrances and dyes.

I'm sure most of you are interested to know more, especially about the possible dangers of some of the ingredients that I just stated, so let me quote the words under the "use tip" section on the official page of this product:

"From fresh, white linens to crisp, white shirts; these simple joys in life are any cleaning diva’s dream. But did you know that the bleach you’ve been using to get that “insta-white” effect can actually harm you and the environment?

Bleach, a chlorine-based chemical solution, is a highly toxic substance that has been involved in more household poisonings than any other chemical. It’s found in the majority of household cleaning products, disinfectants as well as laundry detergents. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), frequent users of chlorine bleach are at increased risk of developing asthma and other respiratory problems. The West Virginia University Extension also links chlorine-based compounds, like dioxins, with low sperm count, testicular cancer and breast cancer due to their ability to mimic human hormones.

Optical brighteners, an alternative to bleach, make fabrics appear brighter but can often cause skin irritation. As they can accumulate in the environment, they too become toxic to aquatic life.

So, in the race to have the softest, whitest, most fragrant clothes, detergent manufacturers use a chemical to address a problem that causes another problem that needs yet another chemical to fix. You want nice-smelling clothes, put fragrance. Fragrance might cause discoloration, so put a whitener. Whitener makes clothes stiffer, so put a fabric conditioner to soften clothes. That’s a lot of chemicals left on the fabric that your skin is exposed to. No wonder people get skin allergies nowadays! Perhaps the only solution is to switch to a natural, harmful chemical-free detergent!"

This product is dermatologist-tested. It is non-irritating and safe. I can easily testify that I haven't encountered any problems with and because of this product, yet. I hand wash my clothes using this detergent. It is very gentle and easy on the skin. It doesn't burn my skin or make it feel hot. Neither does it make my skin dry and peel.

It has a quite addicting natural citrus scent. It actually makes me think of freshly squeezed oranges. I do love and enjoy the scent a lot. It relaxes me and makes me feel really good. I never enjoyed doing the laundry before this way. The scent is evident and strong while you're washing the clothes. Unfortunately, it doesn't stick on dry clothes. That doesn't bother me that much, though, because at least, nothing would mix or interfere with your cologne or perfume once the clothes are worn.   

Of course, that's not the only thing that I adore about this product. I find it a bit surprising, especially at first, but it really works and is very efficient at that. It effectively removes odor or stain as long as you follow the instructions. It does clean and whiten the clothes in its own gentle way without making them stiff. You surely don't need any bleach or fabric conditioner.

It is bubbly, but definitely not as bubbly as commercial detergents. That is a good thing for two major reasons. Firstly, it leaves extra space for the clothes to move around, especially when using a washing machine. Secondly, it makes rinsing a lot easier and faster.

This product is a great detergent. I love it and I will continue to use it again and again.
