I made a mistake. I actually still have two products by Lola Abon's. This Lola Abon's Polvoron is actually the second to the last and not the previous one.
I can't believe I almost forgot about this one. This product is actually one of my favorites. I truly think it's one of the best from Lola Abon's.
Its packaging is similar to the last two that I posted about. The company's address and telephone number are on the front.
The only thing on the back is the expiry date.
Once more, the nutrition facts and ingredient list are not stated.
A pack contains 6 pieces and these pieces are wrapped just once this time.
Unlike Lola Abon's Turon de Mani, this one is surely not just your regular polvoron.
First of all, the polvoron is inside a wafer stick. It makes this product unique and special. It is indeed a nice touch. It adds a character to the product, not just texture-wise, but also taste-wise.
The wafer stick is not too crispy and is neither too soft. It's very enjoyable to munch. The polvoron inside is not "buhaghag". It is jam-packed inside the wafer.
It is also not just a basic polvoron, but a durian polvoron.
It has an obvious durian scent, but it's not too powerful and overwhelming. The sweetness is also evident.
The taste is just perfect. The durian taste mixes well with the usual taste of polvoron. It is also not too sweet because the taste of the wafer balances out everything.
This product is a must try!
