NOTD: Choco-Hazelnut with Strawberry

When it comes to painting my nails, I tend to pick local nail polishes. I genuinely think that their quality is on par with other polishes. Also, they are waaaaaaay cheaper so even buying tons won't make a huge damage on my account. Haha. That's a big deal for someone who keeps on changing her nail colour frequently, right?

Last night, I painted my nails with new colours for the nth time this month. I chose to go for my nail polishes from Caronia. I specifically went for the colours Copper Rock and Red Pearl. I got them both from Landmark, Trinoma for only 27.75 Php each.

I applied the Red Pearl as an accent color on my ring finger and the Copper Rock on the rest.

They both have a frosted finish. As expected they applied smoothly and evenly. Their brushes work just fine.

Red Pearl is such a beautiful ruby red. It's so opaque that all I needed was just a coat.

Copper Rock is a warm copper brown. Compared to the first one, I needed to apply 2-3 coats to get the opacity that I wanted.

That's it for my notd post. I'll catch you guys again later. ;D

NOTD: OMG Nail Polish in Prom Queen

Hello my loves! Today, I am back with an N.O.T.D. I actually don’t remember anymore when the last time I posted an N.O.T.D was. It’s been quite some time. I definitely missed posting something like this. I used to post A LOT of NOTD’s back when I first started blogging.  (:

Just like the old times, I am wearing another nail polish from OMG. I just adore this brand. It is a very affordable local brand. I actually got this nail polish from Landmark, Trinoma for only 17.75 Php. Isn’t that a steal?

That’s not just that, my friends. This nail polish also has a very nice quality. I mean it. It goes on like a dream. It applies smoothly and evenly. Then, it dries really fast. Who wants a nail polish that takes years to dry anyways? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Haha xD It is also opaque, all you’ll ever need is just a coat on each nails. I am also positive that this nail colour will last long without chipping just like the first ones that I’ve tried.

Here is how it looks on my nails.

Isn’t it lovely? I still think it is lovely even though the photo actually doesn't give justice. It is much prettier in person. It is also more lilac and totally not greyish. This nail colour is called Prom Queen by the way. This one is now on top of the list of my favourites. Like, c’mon, who wouldn’t fall in love with this colour. It’s just so fresh, young, and girly. I am totally smitten by it.

You love it, too, right? I know you do. Don’t be shy and tell me what you think about this nail colour. Let’s chat a little. xo

NOTD: OMG Nail Polish in Naked

Good day lovelies! ;D How are you all doing? These past few days, I’ve been able to overpower my laziness and I’ve been painting my nails more often than before. I am overjoyed with that fact because at least now I am no longer neglecting my nail polishes and I can say that they are in good use.

This time, I decided to take a break from bright coloured nails and opted for a neutral nail colour. I picked this regular nail polish from OMG and it is in the colour, yes you’ve guessed it right, Naked.

Here is my actual masterpiece. xD

Honestly, I love it. I think there’s something sexy, classy and sophisticated with nude colours. I would definitely like to try out some more colours like this. I would surely give neutrals more love from now on.

Now focusing on this specific nail polish, it is also opaque, just the same with OMG Crystal Sand in Opal and in Emerald. (Just like the old times, I only used one coat without any base or top coat.) It dries up so fast, too. I guess it only takes 1-2 minutes. It applies smoothly and evenly as well. I also just adore its sleek finish.

There are other good things about this nail polish. One is, it contains a lot of product, 10 mL. Also, it is free from Toluene and DBP which are toxic. Lastly, it is so affordable at 17.75 Php (BTW, I purchased mine at Landmark, Trinoma).

Definitely, this is one of my favourite nail polishes. I certainly adore the colour, the formula, the price, well, I guess everything about it. I’m now hoping that this would last long, too, just like the crystal sand ones which lasted on my nails for a week without chipping. 

How about you sweethearts, do you prefer neutrals over bright ones? And what is your favourite neutral nail polish? I would surely love to know. :D Thanks for your time sweeties. Talk to you again soon. xoxo

NOTD: Caress Nail Polish in Pure Gold

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? I was bored this morning and had nothing to do so I decided to just paint my nails. I went with a basic manicure this time, nothing special, and here’s the result.

I used Caress Nail Polish in Pure Gold.

I truly admire that this nail polish dries so quickly (it only takes two to three minutes) and with a glossy finish. It is pretty cheap, as well, at 24.75 Php.  Also, it contains more product, 10 mL, compare to others like Caronia and Bobbie which contain 8 mL.

But, unlike the last nail polishes that I used, which were OMG Crystal Sand Nail Polishes in Opal and Emerald, I had to use two to three coats of this nail polish to get the opacity that I wanted. It did not apply evenly, too and it’s a bit streaky. Maybe the brush that comes with it, which I truly don’t like, was the one at fault because it is so flimsy.

Anyways, I still think that this is a good colour. I’m positive that I can still work with it, all I need is a different brush applicator. 

Thanks for your time sweethearts!! Talk to you again soon. ;) Ciao! xoxo

NOTD: OMG Crystal Sand in Opal and Emerald

Hi everyone! So I was in the mood to paint my nails and give them more life and colour this morning and I came up with this.

I went for an accent nail manicure and highlighted my ring finger with OMG Crystal Sand Nail Polish in Opal while I coloured the rest with OMG Crystal Nail Polish in Emerald.

L: Opal ; R: Emerald

What I love the most about these nail polishes is that they are so pigmented. I actually applied only one coat (that’s how lazy I am, painting my nail only once in a blue moon and with just one coat xD), and as you see they are looking just fine. These nail polishes also glide on so smoothly and evenly. The glitters are not big of a chunk and not gritty at all, just how I like it. Another plus point is they only cost 18.75 Php each. Yes darlings, beat that. ;D

I just really hope they will not chip off easily and that they will last long regardless the fact that I didn’t use any base and top coat. Told you, I’m lazy just like that. xD

How about you, beauties, do you love to paint your nails frequently? What’s your favourite nail polish? I would love to know.

Until next time lovelies :*
