Top 13 Products of 2013

Happy new year my loves!! I know it is a tad bit late but whatevs, right? Haha ;D Anyways, as I say my farewell to 2013 I would like to share my top 13 products of that year. I actually had a bit of a hard time choosing just 13 products but luckily I managed to do so. These are the products that have been closest to my heart. ;) They have been my favorites, go-to and lifesavers. C'mon now and let me share them to you one by one. ^^,

❀ ✿ ❀ ✿ ❀ ✿ ❀ ✿ ❀ ✿ ❀ ✿

1.) ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer
- This does the job so well. It sure makes my makeup last all day long. Being a product from ELF, it is also inexpensive.

2.) Etude's Precious Mineral BB Cream  All Day Strong with SPF 30/PA++
- My go-to base. This makes my skin look flawless. I love love love the coverage, the longevity and the dewy finish that this product gives. The price is not that bad either.

3.) NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
- It does give that natural flush. It also lasts fairly long. This is perfect for everyday use.

4.) Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion in Black
- This is my go-to mascara. It gives the perfect volume and length. It never flakes or smudges on me. Lastly, it is easy to remove.

5.) Marionnaud N.38 Eyes
- This is the only brush that I use for my brows. The spoolie is great. The angled liner brush is not too long or short, has the perfect density, and when I use it to fill my brows it helps to give just that natural look.

6.) Vaseline Lip Therapy in Cherry
- This is what I always use to prep my lips before applying any other lip product and whenever my lip gets chapped.

7.) Customized Lip Balm Stain
- I'm so happy with this product. I mixed two lip products (ELF Lip Stain in Birthday Suit + Maybelline Lips Pink Glow in Mixed Berry) myself and the outcome, I believe, is great. It does last for a long time and I love the color.

8.) Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake
- I adore the awesome formula of the lip butters and this is my go-to color.

9.) Garnier Light Complete Multi-Action Brightening Scrub
- For me, this is definitely the best facial scrub ever. First of all, it is not abrasive. It leaves my skin so clean and bright. It is very affordable, too.

10.) Glamworks Charcoal Nose Pore Strip
- This does the job and takes away the nasty blackheads.

11.) Quick FX Pimple Eraser
- This does wonders. All I need is a teeny tiny bit and it will dry out my pimples and leaves no scars.

12.) Zenzest Eau de Toilette in Coral
- I love love love this scent. Need I say more?

13.) Dove Hair Therapy Refresh + Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo
- This is my life saver. It keeps my hair clean and refresh and it keeps the oiliness at bay for a very long period of time.

That's it for my top 13 of 2013. How about you beauties? What's your top 13 products last year. Face Of The Day: Chocó milk ^^,

Hi lovelies! :D How’s your day? For me, I didn’t have much to do and any place to visit, just like most of the times, so I decided to just play around this afternoon with my loves. After playing for a few minutes, here’s what happened. xD

Excuse my blemishes, I was really not in the mood to do a full face makeup because I didn’t have anywhere to go anyways. Actually, I just played with a few eye products. Here’s everything that I used.

=====) ^ u ^ (=====

1 Marionnaud N38 – Using the spoolie end I just brushed my brows.

2 Careline Concealer in Soft Bisque – This thing does not work well as a concealer for me but still I don’t want to waste it so I just use it to prime my eyes and it works okay.

3 Artist Studio Flat Eye shadow Brush and Fashion 21 Eye shadow in 11- I applied this colour on my lid up to the crease and also on my inner corners. I just used two layers of this eye shadow. I really like its pigmentation.

4 Artist Studio Crease Brush and Fashion 21 Eye shadow in 20 – I applied this one on my crease, concentrating on the outer corners. Just like the other eye shadow, this one also has a decent pigmentation. I used two to three layers of this shadow. You can use them either dry or wet. I just used them dry here, but if you want more pigmentation use them wet.

5 ELF Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara - Lastly I just added a coat of clear mascara on my lashes. This mascara works okay for lashes but works absolutely amazing for your brows. It is also pretty affordable at 129.75 Php.

That’s it lovelies. Nothing special, I just wanna share it and maybe give you some ideas if you’re interested to know something on those products or how they work on other people. :D

Thanks for your time darlings. Talk to you again next time. xoxo

June Make-up Haul ^^,

SHOPPING is the key to a stress free life… okay, so that’s an overstatement. xD But still, shopping is a word that makes me feel excited and hyper whenever I hear it. :D Definitely, it is somewhere on top of my stress reliever list. It is something that entertains me a lot and just simply makes me happy. It is like I’m rewarding myself and it makes me feel good. I love discovering and reuniting with a lot of products. I love having something new. I love shopping!

I certainly am sure that a lot of you feel me. You’re with me right? ;D

Now, let me share to you, lovelies, a glimpse of the things I got from my latest shopping journey.

ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder - 249.75 Php

One of the most interesting debates in the beauty community is whether this baby is a dupe of the famous NARS Orgasm and Laguna duo. Well, packaging wise they undeniable look alike. Regarding, the product itself I couldn’t care less because even if it is or it isn’t, this baby, I say, is so gorgeous. The blush is peachy pink with golden shimmers in it, perfect to instantly make you look radiant and glowing. The bronzer is a nice brown, also with slight shimmers in it. With that being said, if you’re not into shimmers you should stay away from this product but if you are, ah, this is a lovely product, absolutely worth the try.

Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation - 165 Php

I’ve been looking for an everyday foundation with light to medium coverage that is affordable but does the job and I’ve read a lot of good reviews about this one so I decided to finally try it. :D I’ll tell you beauties if I like it.

Nichido Blushes L: Cool Rum R: Peach Glow - 88 Php

The one in the left may be familiar to all of you, Cool Rum. It’s the most famous among the Nichido blushes. People love its versatility, you can definitely use it as a blush and also a bronzer, maybe even a crease colour. Also it is matte which is preferred by many. Next to that is Peach Glow. As the name implies it is a light peach and just like the Cool Rum it is also matte. As you possibly can tell by now I prefer peach blushes because I think it is a glamorous colour and it suits Asian skin tone amazingly.

Fashion 21 Single Eye Shadows in 20 and 11 - 65 Php

What I love the most about these eye shadows is that they are matte. They are also very handy. And who doesn't need a brown and white eye shadows right? You can use the brown to fill your brows, to set your eye liner (keep it from smudging and make it more natural), as a crease colour and even as a lid colour. While the white one is perfect for highlighting your brows and inner corners, and also as a lid colour. Oh, another thing, I tested them out and they are not powdery at all. Though these babies are sheer but they are quite buildable. ;)

Marionnaud Brushes in N37 (bottom) and N38 (top)

As we all know, make up brushes can do wonders. They are like magic wands. Right now, I’m building my collection and so glad to add these two. The one on top is a spoolie on one end and an angled brow/liner brush (N38) on the other, perfect for making your brows look good or applying gel eyeliner or eye shadow to set your liner. The one below is a pointed eye shadow brush (N37), awesome for adding some details on your eye look or for using on the crease. They are affordable, around a hundred each, I’m just not sure about the exact price, sorry about that.  ^^v Nonetheless, they do work pretty well and feel so soft too.

That concludes my haul, dears. By the way, everything was purchased at Landmark, Trinoma. (:

If you have questions or want an in depth review about one of these products feel free to comment down below. ;)

That’s all for now lovelies. Thanks for reading. xoxo
