This one is a lot different than the first two.
Just like the one from Scotch Brite, I also got this at Robinson's Supermarket. However, unlike the former one, Cleans-Up sponge is relatively cheaper at 22.50 Php per piece. It's also cheaper than the one from Housewell.
It also has a hoop in one corner unlike the other sponges.
This makes the sponge a lot easier to store and dry. I really appreciate that small detail.
It's an all purpose sponge that I personally use solely for dish-washing. Just like the claim, it is indeed highly absorbent. It makes a tiny drop of dish-washing liquid extremely sudsy. That's pretty much the only similar trait that it shares with the other two sponges from Scotch Brite and Housewell.
Contrary to the claim and unlike the other sponges, I actually don't find it strong, sturdy and tough. In fact, it's a very gentle sponge. It is a lot softer and puffier than the others. The net cover is not even that abrasive. With that said, it's very easy on the hand. It is also almost impossible for it to scratch or damage any surface.
Despite its gentleness, it still works efficiently against normal stains and grease. But, that's it. It's not tough and effective enough for stubborn stains. It's only suitable for extremely delicate materials or surfaces. It's not the best for extremely dirty cookware.
It definitely has its pros and cons. I guess, other than for cleaning sensitive areas or surfaces, it is indeed more ideal for wiping off spills. I can easily imagine it being so awesome for that purpose since, again, it is highly absorbent.
