LOCALLY BLENDED JUICE DRINKS in RIPE MANGO and GREEN MANGO

I love the regular flavors of Locally Blended Juice Drinks. I even made a post about them almost two years ago. Just imagine how excited I was when I saw these two new flavors in a store near me.

These two flavors, Ripe Mango and Green Mango, are both available for a limited time only.

I got the Ripe Mango flavored one for only 32.50 Php and the other one for 37.95 Php.

I guess the price varies depending on the flavor, because other than that they are practically the same.

They come in glass bottles with tin caps which I appreciate since they are more eco-friendly. Each bottle contains 250 mL of juice.

The design and sequence of details on the bottle are just like the ones on the regular flavors.

They still have witty tag lines and fun facts. They are pretty interesting and entertaining. I adore those qualities and efforts of the brand.

Aside from that, I also love that they use natural homegrown fruits that are sourced locally.

The lists of their ingredients are nearly the same.

Even the nutrition facts only have slight differences.

Let's now talk about them individually.

Starting with the Ripe Mango, it has a heavenly scent. It would surely make anyone think of luscious, mouthwatering ripe mangoes. The texture is a bit rich, too, but still smooth and fluid.

I was expecting it to taste like the mango drinks that I used to have when I was younger. You know, that sweet and fruity, rich taste. I was expecting it to have that perfect taste, not just because of its scent, but also because as I've mentioned above, I love the other flavors of Locally Blended Juice Drinks a lot, especially the Guyabano one. Alas, this one didn't quite reach my expectations. It felt like there's something missing and that it's just not the right mix. There was a particular taste that I was just not fond of. It's probably the artificial sweetener.

Moving on to the other one, the scent of this Green Mango drink reminds me of overripe Indian Mangoes. I'm honestly not a big fan of that scent because it makes me think of the fallen and wasted Indian Mangoes that we tend to have from time to time here in our lot.

The texture, though, is great and almost identical to the texture of the other one.

The taste, just like the first one, is underwhelming, but I think I still like this better than the former. There's no particular taste that I didn't like. It just wasn't able to provide that natural rich mango taste that I was looking for.

Overall, both of these limited flavors are misses for me.

I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch for both flavors. Since they use natural fruits, it is also natural for the taste to vary.

Have you tried them? Tell me what you think.

Until next time!
