TAKABB ANTI-COUGH PILL (HERBAL FLAVOUR)

I hope you're all having a peaceful and blessed All Saints' Day.

Before I go on to the last of the Mikku Yoghurt Drinks, let me first share my opinion on another Thai product that I got online.

It's this Takabb Anti-Cough Pill in Herbal Flavor. I purchased a single pack from a Shopee seller for a fairly low price. I think it's worth less than 50 Php. It's definitely affordable.

A small foil pack, that is about the size of my palm, contains around 30 pieces. It is advised to take 2-4 pills when required, so a pack can surely last more than 7 takes.

This product claims to provide a refreshing feeling and relief againts cough since it supposedly dissolves phlegm. There's no clarification about how often a person can actually take the pills per day. However, it also claims to be suitable not just for adults, but also for children, so it must be quite gentle.

The pills inside are undeniably small. They are bronze in color. They do have a smooth texture, but they are pretty hard. Based on the instruction, it is required to dissolve the pills slowly in the mouth and boy, do they dissolve truly slowly.

The scent of this product is definitely on the minty side. It makes think of peppermint and eucalyptus. Aside from those, this product also has that bitter scent of a tea, definitely herbal.

I personally think that this product is promising, that it has so much potential and value. I also really wanted for it to work, for me to like it a lot and it to be my go-to savior of some sort.

But so far, I've only tried it once. I took two pills that time and they effectively brought some relief. They also truly provided that refreshing feeling.

Now, I'm sure you're curious, what actually stops me from taking it again is the taste. It is incredibly bitter. As I've already mentioned, it must be dissolved slowly in the mouth. The bitter taste is hard to take and it doesn't even subside as time goes by.

I'm not very picky. I even like teas, herbal candies, bitter gourd and the likes. Still, I find it hard to give this product another go.

All in all, I think it's one of those products that you either really love or really hate. If you find the taste tolerable then lucky you, you have a great product on hand, but if not, then better luck trying another product or maybe, another flavor of this product. Yes, they do offer this Takabb Anti-Cough Pill in other flavors, but they are not widely available here in the Philippines.

That's all for know.

Until next time!
